A gift box…

Hello!! Marilyn’s here and this time I will show you a wood box that I covered with the Vintage Spring Basics Collection.  I love to make altered project, too, and I prepared this box for a gift. .. I added textures with gesso and an extra design with a mask.DSC_4029I used both sides of the 6th of April paper to covered all the sides of this box, I also used the bottom strip of the paper that has a phrase..Remember to Live!DSC_4030

A folded Tag…..

Hello!!! Today I will show you a folded tag that I made with my 6 x 6 paper pad with the Walking in the Forest Collection. I folded a 6 x 6 paper to 3 x 6 and I tied the center with cord, then I made some layers to create more dimension and this is the final result.DSC_4005

I added some chipboard, pearls  and leaves to create more textures….DSC_4006I worked with the Birdsong, Mountain ash and Flannel shirt papers.  I cut the butterflies from the die cut sheet from the Walking in the Forest Collection.

Happy Monday Maja Design fans!!!  Here’s Marilyn to show this page that I made with the Life in The Country Collection.  This collection has beautiful bright colors that match perfectly with my picture, here’s my lovely niece Alma Sofia.

I used the bottom strip of the papers to pleat it and used it like embellishments…

I combined  paints, gesso and mask with buttons, pearls and twine.

Spring is in the air…

Hello Maja Design fans!!!  Spring is in the air…here in the Caribbean is summer all the time but in this time you will see a lot of colors and a lot of flowers that makes our surroundings beautiful! I Love it!…as I like  the new Vintage Springs Basics Collection.  I prepared this time a vintage tag with this new collection.DSC_0763I cut these lovely butterflies from the 6th of May paper and I made the drapery  from the 5th of May paper both are from the new Vintage Spring Basics.DSC_0757

I made some distress and distress ink techniques in my tag for a vintage look.

Lovely Memory

Hello!!  Today I’m sharing with you this page inspired in the March Mood Board.  This is a lovely memory of a trip I did to New York with my sister and hubby a few years ago.  We were at a restaurant and we enjoyed a cup of coffee.  I used the beautiful “Sta Vi ta en Fika” Collection.DSC_0599

I made some masking around my photo and made a lot of ribbon strips.

My Favorite Beach

Hello!! Marilyn here to share with all of you this page that I made with the Crea Diem Collection.  This page is about one of my favorite beach here where I live in Puerto Rico. I love the turquoise color in the beach but when you are there the water is completely clear and transparent and the sand is very white…it’s a gorgeous beach!

I worked with OM DU VILL ALSKAS, SKAPA DAGEN papers from Crea Diem Collection.

I used two different mask here and added some textures with molding paste, too.

I also used corrugated, twine, pearls, crystal vine, lace, flowers and handmade flowers.   If you someday have the opportunity to come to Puerto Rico don’t forget to visit  Vieques to see and enjoy this paradise.

My Boys

Hello Maja Design fans!   Marilyn here with you to show you a boy page that I made with Walking in the Forest Collection.  I love to make feminine pages but this time I got out of my conform zone and made a page about the two boys in my life…my son and my hubby, I had this picture waiting to be scrap and Walking in the Forest Collection is perfect for it!  I took this picture in a ride machine at Disney many years ago.DSC_0296

I used the 6 x 6 paper pad to cut my photo mat and all the circles.
