Hi, this is Tomoko! This would be my second week at Maja Design. I hope you liked my previous project! Today I am showing you a mini album made with Maja Design’s “Walking in the Forest” .
This is how the inside of the album looks like. And you can see I have used one of the paper designs to make this cute mini envelope!! You can see some tips below.
Here are some tips that I am going to show you how I made my envelope close up.
1) First you need is Maja Design’s paper, “Die Cut Sheet” from the Walking in the Forest collection. Cut out the envelop design and build it up.
Then what you do is cut paper like I did below to make a belt for the envelop. After making the belt, you glue it on in the center of the envelop lid and glue paper that is cut along the design of the lid.2) Curl thin strip of paper to make what is going to hold you belt so the envelop will close up.3) Glue 2 on to your envelope. Then you are finished!
Here are the Maja Design supplies that I used for this mini album:
Walk in the Forest Collection
Paper: Autumn in the Air, Flannel Shirt, Fresh Air, Jeans, Knitted Sweater, Birdsong, When leaves are…, Last Flowers, The orchestra of nature, Die Cut Letters, Die Cut Sheet
I hope you enjoyed my post!! Thank you so much for dropping by this week too!!
Hi! This will be my first week at Maja Design. I am so proud and happy to become one of their creative team member for this month! Thank you so much again to Maja Designs for inviting me.
This is what I made for this week….
The size is small, 6 x 6 inches, but love how this small layout turned out with all the soft colors! And this it even looks more good with it inside the frame.
I used the Vintage Summer Basics Collection for my layout. I just love all the shabby chic with the beautiful flowers and wood designs of the paper. Even the frame is made out of Maja Design’s paper! (Memories)Here are some close ups of my layout.
You can see how I put layers of cut out flowers between and made them pop up a little.
And here is a little tip from me.
Since the flowers have very soft colors, I think the flower design will pop up more when you ink the edges.
By this you can use blue or turquoise. Maybe brown if you want to have a more vintage look. But I prefer something that is close to blue if you want to have a shabby chic look on your project. You can put these flowers between your photo like how I did below.Maja Design Vintage Summer Basics
Paper Codes: 1905, 1921, 1922, 1923, 1933, 1934, Memories
Prima (flowers), Love My Memories (frame)
Thank you so much for dropping by and I am looking forward to spend the rest of this month at Maja Design!!!
