I can now proudly present the new Maja collection – “A Gift for You”!
The feeling that spreads all over while enjoying this wonderful art is – Christmas time, candle lights, cozy by the fire place, snow, sparkling cold and lovingly warm at the same time and of course, an exciting feeling that Santa Claus soon will be coming with his reindeers..
This wonderful creation will be released September 29th – please make sure that your nearest store will have it in stock for you!
See you soon!
There’s a smell of newly baked sponge cake in the air. The raspberries are ready to be harvested and the roses are in full bloom. The bees are busy working the flourishing garden. The white furniture from times of old has been repainted and looks almost new. The sun warms up the last grass straws that are still covered in due. The coffee is waiting in the arbour.
Our latest collection will be a new favourite for our Fika fans. This time we have moved ourselves with our tea cups out in the garden. So sit back, drink some lemonade and let the sun warm your winterlegs while waiting for the collection to reach a store near you.
This months Mood Board has generated so many beautiful projects…

It’s a bit late, but here is our latest member of the Maja crew…
A lot of you has already met my son Joel who was born on October 23rd last year. He was 54 cm tall and his weight was 3665 grams. He’s what my sister calls a Sunshine Child. He is always happy and has never heard of tears or sour faces.
I have mainly used 3rd to 6th of April from the Vintage Spring Basics collection for this little presentation. The background was created with 6th of April, Distress Ink and Texture Paste.I have used Prima’s flocked rub ons and bling. Chipboard from Scrapfx, flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. Edge punch by Martha Stewart.
This truely is my favourite photo of Joel. We were making gingerbreads for Christmas when I picked him up and his eyes were just shining.
The chipboard has been painted with Gesso and Glimmer Glam.A lot of people ask me what kind of pearls I prefer… I like pearl pens of all kinds. I think it’s easier to create beautiful pearls with them instead of the ones that are in bottles. Large pearls pens are preferable since the small ones are harder to get good results with.I just love to use the stripes of the papers. They are very decorative and add an extra touch. The circular shape has been cut out with a Nestabilities die. The paper is from the Vintage Autumn Basics 6×6 paper pad. I created the mask for the background myself and then used Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink. The white corner is from a LSS.
I am so proud to present our very own MajaDesign Channel on Youtube. There you will be able to find tutorials and more. All created by our fabulous Creative Team. We hope you will like it and start subscribing to it.
Today I’ve got some exciting news for you. We are introducing our first Maja Educator Elena Olinevich that will hold Maja Design classes for us. Elena has been teaching classes for several years and is also a member of our Creative Team. Elena’s style is very feminine with lace and soft colours, still bold by using mixed media in her own unique way. Her work is filled with details and we are certain you will find her very creative.
Elena is living in Belarus, but will be holding classes for us all over the world. So if you are interested in having a Maja Design class in a store near you, please let them know.
